YogaHikes has had an amazing season this year, from our new leader Becky Eschenroeder to our interview on NBC12 news and our partnership with Recycling Perks RVA to clowns on segways! We are celebrating the end of the 2015 season in a big way, with two awesome additions to our already awesome YogaHikes. Local weed-master Brian Hill will be showing us some edible weeds to enjoy (and some to avoid) on our hike, and local yogini Sonja Stoeckli will lead us in the construction of a nature mandala and meditation! This is a 4-hour event, and coincidentally concludes down by the river about 20 minutes before sunset. We will explore Reedy Creek Trail, Buttermilk Trail, and Belle Isle. Depending on water levels, we may be able to get out on the rocks. It's going to be a beautiful day, and we hope you will join us.

Due to the increasing numbers participants at our YogaHikes, we'll need to put a cap on the number of registrants for this event. Please register (your payment is your registration) early to save your spot!

*online registration will be disabled two hours prior to event start time

Well, RVA, looks like tomorrow (Sunday Oct. 4) will be another cold and rainy day with high river levels. For this reason, the Season Finale YogaHikes event for tomorrow is cancelled. We will not be able to re-schedule for the fall, but we look forward to seeing you at our Season Kick-off in spring 2016! Although we do not lead YogaHikes throughout late fall and winter, we encourage you to bundle up and get out to explore the park system in the colder months. It is beautiful in the cold weather as the trees are bare and offer excellent views, and not many people are out so you can find your Self in the silence. Much Love to you all. Stay safe and in love! -Liz
